This Privacy Policy explains how Blue Echo Care (“BeCCPAP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in Canada when you use our websites, products, and services (the “Services”).

What this policy covers
This policy applies to personal information about identifiable individuals collected in Canada. It covers information collected:
- When you browse our website or create an account
- When you purchase products or interact with our support team
- When you subscribe to emails or participate in surveys, events, or promotions
“Personal information” means information about an identifiable individual as defined under Canadian privacy laws.
Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information (depending on how you interact with us):
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, billing/shipping address, province/country.
- Account & order details: login credentials, order history, preferences, warranty/return information.
- Payment-related info: transaction identifiers and status from our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).
- No prescriptions required: BeCCPAP does not collect or require prescription details for CPAP or BiPAP machines.
- Communications: messages, call notes, support tickets, and your feedback or survey responses.
- Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, time on site, and general location (e.g., region derived from IP).
- Location data (optional): precise location if you enable it on your device.
Sources include information you provide directly, data collected automatically via cookies/analytics, and information from service providers (e.g., payment and analytics tools).
How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and support the Services: fulfill orders, process payments, ship products, and deliver customer care.
- Communicate with you: respond to inquiries, send order updates, and provide important notices about your account or our terms/policies.
- Personalize and improve: analyze usage, fix issues, enhance features, and tailor content or offers.
- Marketing (with consent): send newsletters or promotions in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can unsubscribe at any time.

- Business operations: record-keeping, auditing, and considering or completing business transactions (e.g., financing or reorganization).
Where required, we rely on your consent (express or implied depending on context). You may withdraw consent as described in Section 9.

- Service providers: companies that help us run the business (hosting/IT, customer support, email delivery, analytics, storage, professional advisors).
- Payment & analytics partners (current list): PayPal (payments) and Google Analytics (site analytics).

- Transaction counterparts: parties (and their advisors) involved in a prospective or completed business transaction.
- Legal and safety: regulators, courts, or law enforcement where legally required or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Some service providers may process personal information outside Canada. When information is transferred internationally, it may be subject to the laws of those countries (and accessible to their authorities). We use cookies, pixels, and similar tools to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used.

- Do Not Track: our site does not currently respond to DNT signals.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, to meet legal or regulatory obligations (e.g., tax and accounting), or to resolve disputes. We may de-identify data for analytics or improvement and will not attempt to re-identify it.
Your rights and choices
Subject to legal exceptions, you may:

- Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information
- Withdraw consent to processing (including marketing) — this may affect our ability to provide certain Services
- Ask questions or raise concerns about our privacy practices

We may need to verify your identity before completing your request and will respond within the timelines set by Canadian law. We may charge a minimal fee where permitted (we’ll tell you in advance).
Children’s privacy
Our Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the age of consent for online services in your province, if higher). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information to help protect personal information against loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use the Services responsibly.
